As a Freelance Guide with Sandeman’s Tours in Amsterdam, you will have the opportunity to lead engaging and informative tours that highlight the city’s fascinating history, culture, and attractions. From iconic landmarks to hidden gems, you will share your passion for exploration with travelers from around the world. This role offers flexibility in scheduling and the chance to work in one of Europe’s most vibrant cities.
Responsibilities
- Lead guided tours of Amsterdam, providing insightful commentary and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
- Tailor tours to the interests and preferences of diverse groups of travelers.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and enthusiasm throughout each tour.
- Stay informed about local history, culture, and current events to enhance the tour experience.
Requirements
- Fluent in English and/or Spanish; additional languages, particularly Dutch, are a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for storytelling and sharing knowledge with others.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous guiding experience or a background in tourism/hospitality is preferred.
Salary and Employment Conditions
This is a freelance position with competitive compensation based on tour bookings
Flexible scheduling, with availability required during peak travel times, including weekends and holidays.
