Schulman is a leading auction house and gallery in the Netherlands and Sweden. Our gallery is located in the central Museum quarters of Amsterdam. Since 1880 we have been specialized in Numismatics or the auctioning and selling of historical coins, medals, banknotes, and decorations. We organize almost a dozen auctions a year in Amsterdam and Gothenburg. We attend international conferences and exhibitions. Including the prestigious PAN Amsterdam. Our team exist out of young professionals with an affinity in history.
We are looking for the immediate placement of a
Director’s Assistant
24 to 40 hours per week
The function
As the Director’s Assistant you work directly under the Director. Being responsible for planning, organizing, and following the entire auction process and the gallery sales and promotion. This position is available for full-time or part-time
Requirements
- Native or high-level English.
- Native Swedish or High-Level.
- Affinity with history.
- A team player.
- International travel.
Optional Requirements:
- Native or high-level Dutch.
Employment conditions
- 25 paid leave days (based on 40 hours).
- You will be joining a young, close and dynamic team.
- An 8-hour weekday between 10am and 6pm, occasionally on weekends.
