At Home Music Teachers Amsterdam, experienced music teachers come directly to the student’s home for personalized music instrument lessons. This means no long commutes or stressful planning for the student. Our lessons are held in the comfort and convenience of the student’s own home.

for a number of hours to be discussed
Applications for other instruments are also encouraged.
As a teacher at Home Music Teachers, you will receive a ZZP-contract and be invited by the school to provide private instrumental lessons at the student’s home. When we receive a student request, we match them with one of our teachers. The teacher has the option to accept or decline the student. If accepted, the teacher travels to the student’s home for weekly lessons and is paid monthly. The teacher is responsible for conducting one-on-one or group lessons (depending on request), developing individualized education plans, and evaluating student progress. Lessons are typically 30 or 45 minutes long (or longer upon request by the student).

What we expect
- Passion for music and education.
- Friendly, reliable and open minded.
- Graduated or enrolled at a conservatory, or demonstrable musical and pedagogical experience.
- Affinity with pedagogy and teaching both children and adults.
- We strongly encourage applications by Dutch speakers. However, depending on the student’s language preference, proficiency in other languages can also be an advantage.
- Registered with the Chamber of Commerce as a self-employed individual (ZZP), able to issue invoices.
- Previous teaching experience is a plus.
- Mobile by bike / car / public transport.
