Events Intern

32 hours hours per week

Responsibilities
The events intern will assist the ELIA conference manager and the ELIA team with:

  • Supporting the logistics, production and registration efforts for the upcoming ELIA events, especially for ELIA’s largest event – ELIA Biennial Conference 2022;
  • Supporting the communication activities regarding the ELIA events;
  • Assisting with events’ programme planning;
  • Preparation of events’ materials (mostly digital);
  • Coordination of (post)event documentation.

Requirements:

  • Higher education qualification in Events Management or similar;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
  • Ability to effectively communicate and liaise with different groups and cultures;
  • Working user knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Basic knowledge of video conferencing tools and video production;
  • Video-editing skills;
  • Good technical and IT skills;
  • Self-motivated, pro-active, well-organised, efficient;
  • Experiences and knowledge about event marketing and event communications are preferable.
