Bruno Art Group, with galleries in Israel, Singapore, Belgium, South Korea and USA, is one of the few art houses that provides quality Israeli and international artwork by renowned masters of art. With over 100 years of expertise in the industry, Bruno Art Group was born from the passion of its founder Motti Abramovitz. The company provides a platform for contemporary art, giving exposure to young artists and developing their careers.

We are an international art group based in Israel. As yet, we do not have a location for our art gallery in Amsterdam, but we will look for one as soon as we select a sales manager.

Gallery Art Junior Sale Manager

24 hours per week

The Junior Sale Manager aids in the day-to-day operation of the Sales at the Gallery. The position handles all aspects of sales gallery operations and inventory management, and support purchasing, art consignment, product development and budgets. The candidate should demonstrate initiative with strong interpersonal skills to deal with art clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain knowledge of current exhibitions, artists, sales, and promotions;
  • Promote sales by actively educating the public about artwork and artists;
  • Maintain database of customers;
  • Establish a corporate client base;
  • Deliver all merchandising including online shopping, special promotions, and window displays;
  • Process sales transactions, receive and process cash or credit payments;
  • Daily management of cash flows, including daily deposits report;
  • Pack artwork and gifts for shipping as needed;
  • Assist with installation/removal of Gallery shows, fairs, attend special events;
  • Answer phone calls, emails and greet guests.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Dutch and English speaking;
  • Excellent organizational ability;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills;
  • The ability and confidence to deal with a diverse range of people;
  • Sales ability and commercial awareness;
  • Experience of management accounting, negotiation, and inventory control;
  • Physical stamina for organizing and setting up exhibitions;
  • Experience of Photoshop, database management, social media and mailings is also useful;
  • Genuine interest in and enthusiasm for art, knowledge of modern and pop art history preferred.

Direct Report: Gallery Director.

Weekends and some evenings required.

Salary Range: depending on experience.
