Vacature | Organisatie: European Cultural Centre – Global | Functie: Organizer / Cultural Entrepreneur | Plaats: Amsterdam | Omvang: 40 uur per week | Sluitingsdatum: geen
We are a Dutch organizing with a very small headquarter based in Amsterdam. We have started to create satellite organizations in Moscow, New York and Venice, where we are now mainly creating and hosting art and architecture exhibitions. We have built up a very young team of over 50 people mainly in Venice and we are growing fast. We have a very unconventional way of cooperation between all of us and the hierarchy is as flat as possible. Basically, a nice group of independent people cooperating with each other towards similar goals; creating an interesting life.
We are looking for a
Organizer / Cultural Entrepreneur
(40 hours a week)
The assistant organizer takes over many tasks of the main organizer, Rene Rietmeyer, in Amsterdam. You should be a person who is openminded, honest, transparent, flexible and who can do things, not just on paper, but also reality. This might in the beginning just be very simple tasks, but will hopefully grow into handling complex organizational issues mainly related to the worldwide expansion of the European Cultural Centre satellite network. It is necessary to speak good English and at least one more important language. Your tasks will grow in importance depending upon your own capabilities and interest.
It is a fulltime function but as an independent individual, whereby we prefer relationships which at least start with very long term intentions and whereby you have the chance to grow to an important position within the organization. It would be, especially in the beginning, important to live close by Amsterdam, later all other locations with good internet are fine as well.
Although everybody who works with the Foundation does get paid, this is not just a job to get rich, but it is much more a way of living a life which can enable you to create an interesting quality existence.
We do not really care about fantastic CV’s, we care much more about the humans behind that. Succeeding within our organization and work ethics does not so much depend upon the skills you might have now today, it much more depends upon your basic character and willingness to learn, to be flexible, and to develop yourself.
Just write us an email with at least one photo and short description of yourself to: firstname.lastname@example.org
